Sounds In The Suburbs present...
Mary Jean Lewis and the Low Men
First Charge of the Light Brigade
SATURDAY 7TH DECEMBER 2013
Saturday the 7th of December at Woodend we have Mary Jean Lewis and her Low Men with support from The First Charge of the Light Brigade. Mary Jean is Jerry Lee Lewis niece and with her Low Men makes the most fantastic sound, Americana roots at its best, from soft and sultry through to rough and tumble honky tonk.
Then on the 12th of December marks the return to Woodend of the wonderful Wreckless Eric, like Vic another musical legend with great new songs and a fabulous back catalogue of pop classics.
Then to conclude 2013, on the 15th of December former Hipsway frontman Graham Skinner also returns to Woodend with Douglas McIntyre at his side and support from Hapton Crags to play a one off Woodend Winter Wonderland Show. It’s a great way to finish off a great year of eclectic, exciting musical shows.
And for 2014 we already have dates for Boo Hewerdine, Kim Richey and Wet Wet Wet member Graeme Clark and more to follow.
And please note now also on Twitter @suburbs1
