Tuesday 1 January 2013 Check-in on the day opens 11am - 1pm Dookers Parade begins 1.30pm, then into the water! REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR THE LOONY DOOK 2013! Celebrate the start of 2013 by taking part in the breathtaking QUEENSFERRY LOONY DOOK, the annual mass splash in the River Forth under the shadow of the world-famous Forth Rail Bridge. For over a quarter of a century, thousands of brave people have taken the New Year plunge, raising tens of thousands of pounds for charities across the UK. The event begins with the Dooker‘s Parade along the High Street, and finishes in the fresh water. Makes a great photo. Come and cheer on the participants along the route or down on the beach.
