Gerard Joseph Malanga is an American poet, photographer, filmmaker, curator and archivist. Gerard worked closely with Andy Warhol during Warhol's most creative period, from 1963 to 1970. The New York Times referred to him as "Andy Warhol's most important associate." Gerard will be performing poetry and showing a new movie called 'Gerard Malanga's Film Notebooks'. The movie features vintage scenes from The Factory, The Velvet Underground performing at Paraphernalia, and Bob Dylan's historic visit to the Factory. An exhibition of Gerard's photographic work will also be showing concurrently in The Poetry Clubs sister gallery called Voidoid Archive.
