THE BAND PERRY is an American band that plays Country music with influences ranging from traditional Country musicians, to songwriters like The Eagles, Tom Petty, to rockers like the Rolling Stones and Janis Joplin. The trio of siblings is composed of Kimberly Perry (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, piano), Reid Perry (bass guitar, background vocals) and Neil Perry (mandolin, drums, accordion, background vocals).
Throughout much of their young lives they’ve traveled as a family band – writing, playing and working the road. Along the way, they’ve developed a “modern throwback” sound and mixed it with the rare magic of family three-part harmonies.
Their fiery performances and boundless energy underscore a truth as old as showmanship itself – you don’t get this good without working at it. At every show, the trio confidently announces, “We’re The Band Perry and we play Country music.” And they do – leading an audience through “If I Die Young,” into a cover of “Honky Tonk Woman” by the Rolling Stones without missing a beat. It’s a skill that only comes with experience and as the Perrys often say, they “come by it honest.
